This captivating Jiaming Lake in Taichung is an artificial lake created by a development company for land beautification. Covering a total area of about 3,600 pyeong (approximately 11,840 square meters), the expansive green lawn allows visitors to take leisurely walks. The central curved-shaped lake, which looks like a crescent when viewed from afar, is uniquely beautiful—thus earning it the nickname “Tear of an Angel.” The gentle ripples reflect the sky, and as the sun slowly sets, the surrounding lights combined with the deep blue water present yet another stunning view.
