Three typhoons formed within 24 hours — pay special attention to Lionrock

In just 24 hours, three typhoons have successively formed over the Pacific Ocean, and weather developments need to be closely monitored over the coming week. These three typhoons are: Typhoon No. 9 (a mild typhoon) named Dandelion (international name: MINDULLE), Typhoon No. 10 (a mild typhoon) named Lionrock (international name: LIONROCK), and Typhoon No. 11 (a mild typhoon) named Kompasu (international name: KOMPASU).

Both Dandelion and Kompasu are moving northward and will affect Japan, so travelers planning trips to Japan in the near term should exercise extra caution. Lionrock is projected to move westward before turning southwest, potentially approaching the northeastern waters of Taiwan and subsequently impacting Taiwan.
