The Kaohsiung Lantern Festival introduces a 12-meter-high spiral slide—"slide into the Love River" starting Feb. 10
The 2016 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival will be held along the Love River from February 10 to February 22. With the theme "Heroic Monkey ~ Love. Happiness," the festival features monkey-themed lantern displays, a grand lantern parade with tens of thousands of participants, riverside fireworks, and more, spanning 13 days in total. A 12-meter-tall three-dimensional spiral slide imported from Germany will also be introduced, allowing visitors to slide toward the Love River.

Seoul’s popular queueing restaurant “Kongling One Chicken” (??岔哲谷宫) was reported last October to be coming to Taiwan. It was initially said that the opening would take place in November, but it has yet to open.
