Travel Center / Comprehensive Report
Mitsui Outlet Park in Linkou officially opened today (1/27), and Katsuichi Japanese Pork Cutlet from Shizuoka, Japan, was invited to join. For Mitsui Outlet Park, Katsuichi Japanese Pork Cutlet from Shizuoka has introduced exclusive Mitsui store items, which are the Fuki-Leaf Grilled Miso Pork Loin Cutlet Set Meal and the Sukiyaki mentaiko Pork Cutlet Chazuke Set Meal. Additionally, there are two winter-limited menus: the Spicy Red Pork Loin Cutlet Hot Pot and the Crispy Fried Herring Set Meal—once winter is over, they’re gone for good!
One of the Mitsui store exclusives, the Sukiyaki mentaiko Pork Cutlet Chazuke Set Meal, uniquely features Japan’s famous cast-iron teppan pan in the shape of a sukiyaki pot to showcase the deliciousness of the pork cutlet; the Fuki-Leaf Grilled Miso Pork Loin Cutlet Set Meal involves coating the pork loin with imported Japanese breadcrumbs and deep-frying it, then pairing it with a miso blend of Nagoya red miso and Shizuoka Izu miso, mixed with king oyster mushrooms and white beech mushrooms as well as Japan’s golden sesame seeds, before placing the pork cutlet on the base of a fuki-leaf-covered cast-iron plate.

The Sukiyaki Mentaiko Pork Cutlet Chazuke Set Meal uses 5 grams of Japanese Hakata mentaiko sandwiched in the tenderloin, coated with fresh Japanese breadcrumbs and deep-fried, resulting in a crispy and tender exterior. The Sukiyaki Mentaiko Pork Cutlet Chazuke can be enjoyed in three ways: first, as a regular pork cutlet with white rice; second, by pouring broth simmered from Hokkaido rishiri kelp into the rice; and third, with a side dish of mustard and pickled plum, served together with white rice.
In addition to the two Linkou Mitsui store exclusive set meals, Katsuichi Japanese Pork Cutlet from Shizuoka has also launched two winter-limited options: the Spicy Red Pork Loin Cutlet Hot Pot combines elements of Korean cuisine with Japanese dietary culture by adding Korean spicy miso to the broth, offering a sweet yet spicy flavor. The Crispy Fried Herring Set Meal, directly imported from Kagoshima, Japan, uses sashimi-grade herring coated in Japanese breadcrumbs and deep-fried; winter herring has even fat distribution and sweet, delicate flesh. The herring is flown in from Japan twice a week with limited availability.
