March is the season when pomelo blossoms are in full bloom. To celebrate, the New Taipei City Government Agriculture Bureau has partnered with local hot spring businesses in Bali and incorporated characters from popular idol dramas to launch the "Pomelo Blossom Beauty's Hot Spring" and a limited-time "Pomelo-Scented Fried Chicken Set" during the blooming period. On March 23 and 29, they will also host running and hiking events as part of a series of activities, allowing the public to immerse themselves in the beauty of pomelo blossoms.

Flight attendants to get new uniforms as China Airlines unveils modern designs starting September
China Airlines is set to roll out an entirely new look — from aircraft exteriors and flight attendant uniforms to in-flight amenities. Following the launch of its “Next Generation” initiative in 2014, the airline has partnered with an international design team to revamp cabin interiors, uniform designs, and service items, in line with the upcoming delivery of its new fleet of B777-300ER aircraft starting this September. At today’s (18th) spring banquet press conference, China Airlines unveiled the design of its future tableware for the first time.

China Airlines (Rejuvenation) stated that according to the latest cherry blossom front forecast in Japan, the peak blooming period for cherry blossoms in Tokyo and Osaka this year will be in late March to early April, with the blooms gradually moving northward all the way to Hokkaido. To make it more convenient for travelers to visit Japan for cherry blossom viewing, China Airlines will resume flights to Ishigaki Island on April 2 and increase flights to Osaka starting April 10. The international trend of outdoor “mass picnic days” has made its way to Taiwan. The first-ever Picnic Day will take place on May 11 at the Indigenous Themed Tribal Park in Shulin District, New Taipei City. Organizers expect to gather 24,000 participants, aiming to break the record of over 22,000 people picnicking simultaneously, which was set in 2009 at Lisbon’s Bela Vista Park in Portugal.

"Fangliao Day – Come Join the Hakka Fun" in Hakka means everyone takes a holiday to come to the Hakka villages for a good time, enjoying and experiencing Hakka culture. The event features a variety of Hakka cultural performances, including erhu music by the Guanshan Degao Elderly Association, ba-yin (traditional eight-tone ensemble) by the Degao Community Development Association, dance performances by the Taitung Liudui Fellow Villagers Association, percussion by the Chixin Hakka Mountain Song Orchestra, as well as song and dance acts by the Taitung Hakka Women’s Association, the Lilong Community Development Association, and the Ruiyuan Hakka Rhyme Art Troupe.

Since V Air, a subsidiary of the Fuxing Group, announced its cabin crew recruitment at the end of February, it has received over 1,800 applications in just two weeks. Based on the 80 cabin crew positions available, the acceptance rate is approximately 4.4%.
