Wangshan Aidai Ridge Scenic Area
Aida Ridge is a mountain pass between Yaofeng Mountain and Baohua Mountain. It gets its name because the mist from Taihu Lake often meets the mountain winds here, frequently shrouding the area in clouds and fog. There’s also a legend that wild ducks gathering at Taihu Lake every year pass through this ridge, hence it’s also called “Duck Step Ridge.”
The scenic area currently offers a thousand-acre ecological tea expo garden, Longjin Teahouse, Gourd Pond, Plum Blossom Well, Yaofeng Mountain, Dragon Cave, Thousand-People Rock, and other natural and cultural landscapes. At Aida Ridge, you can experience the serene beauty described as “odd rocks tower over steep cliffs, cascading springs rush to secluded pools. Clusters of bamboo reach into the sky, while reclining pines block the misty haze,” and appreciate the idyllic charm of deep forests and hidden paradises.

Transportation: Take bus routes 62, 503, 628, etc., in Suzhou City and get off at Wangshan Village Station.
