When it comes to Taichung, what netizens probably love most is heading to Fengjia Night Market for street food, strolling along the Cultural and Creative Boulevard (Caotun Trail) to enjoy art exhibitions and the refreshing greenery of an urban parkway, or visiting Qiuhong Valley to admire a touch of green with an urban, fashionable vibe right in the city center. But today, we’re not sharing a tourist attraction, but rather a hotel — and it's located in the once-bustling yet now faded old city center, the Central District. It’s the “Green Willow Lane Cultural & Tourism Hotel,” transformed from an old electronics mall. More importantly, it sits between two popular recent spots in the Central District: the long-popular Miyahara Eye Clinic and the newly opened Fourth Credit Cooperative, and it’s also very close to Taichung Railway Station, making it extremely convenient whether you’re staying overnight or out exploring.

Green Willow Lane Cultural & Tourism Hotel is located near Taichung’s famous electronics street and was renovated from an electronics mall that had been abandoned for over 10 years. Using a new concept inspired by circuit boards, it connects the beauty of the old city while gathering the unique energy of Taichung, blending the city’s cultural essence to allow guests to feel the vibrant life force of the hotel.

Green Willow Lane is divided into different themes from the 2nd to the 7th floor. The 2nd floor, “Stay,” focuses on travel, designing an energy travel map featuring Taichung’s delicious food and fun activities. The 3rd floor, “Taste,” centers around good food, combining local classic cuisine with an electronic style presented in a Monopoly-style layout. Floors 5 to 7 are themed as history, treasure, and puzzle, showcasing Taichung’s vintage vinyl records and other music elements, childhood video game memories, art spaces, and alleyway shops, expressing the concepts of “Since,” “Find,” and “Collect.”
