The scenic area is situated nine kilometers northwest of Yangshan County’s urban center, with both the Qinglian Expressway and the recently renovated Class-2-standard Provincial Highway 341 passing nearby, offering very convenient transportation.

Yangcheng Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Yangshan County. It is the seat of the county government. Originally called Fucheng District, it retained that name in 1952. In October 1958, it was reorganized as a commune under the then Lianyang Autonomous County. In 1960, it came under the administration of Yangshan County. In 1983, the commune was abolished and the district reinstated. In 1984, Fucheng District was merged into Yangcheng Town. Located in the central part of the county, it covers an area of 196 square kilometers with a population of 70,000. National Highway 107 and Provincial Highway 1911 pass through the town. The Lianjiang River runs through the area.
