Known as "Guangdong’s Little Guilin," Yushui Tourist Scenic Area is located about 10 kilometers south of Yangshan County. It has earned this nickname because of its resemblance to the landscapes of Guilin. The scenic area is surrounded by mountains, with steep peaks lining both sides of the river, lush green trees, and swaying bamboo. Drifting along the river on a bamboo raft, surrounded by clear blue water and sky, creates a poetic and immersive ambiance, resembling a fairyland on earth. Every spring and autumn, flocks of egrets fly back and forth over the river, forming a unique and beautiful sight in the area. This location was also used as an outdoor filming site for the fourth Golden Rooster Award-winning Best Feature Film, *The Dialect*. The scenic area not only boasts stunning natural beauty but also carries a rich historical legacy, with many popular local legends that add a touch of magic to the landscape.

Yushui Scenic Area enjoys a prime location and convenient transportation. The Qinglian Expressway runs nearby, making it a gateway for tour groups from the Pearl River Delta, as well as international visitors, compatriots from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, traveling to the “Sanlian Yi Yang” region. A newly added overpass, towering more than 100 meters high, along with the previously constructed bridge, soars dramatically above the area beside the scenic zone, resembling two dragons emerging from the sea—an awe-inspiring sight that complements the beautiful scenery.

The first phase of the scenic area offers activities such as bamboo raft drifting, bamboo forest barbecue, a local-style restaurant, leisure lounge with open-air bar, fishing, farmhouse experiences, tent camping, and an international-standard golf driving range. The second phase will develop traditional Hakka farmsteads, wooden villa accommodations, tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, badminton courts, rock climbing, and more. "Little Guilin" is located in the area from Shuikou Town to Qinglian Town, about 12 kilometers southeast of Yangshan County. The renowned painter Guan Shanyue once visited the Shuikou area for inspiration and referred to it as "Shuikou Little Guilin."

The Shuikou Lianjiang Gallery resembles a complete ink-wash landscape painting, showcasing a scene of clear mountains, beautiful waters, and continuous peaks. The section of the river near Shuikou Town, both upstream and downstream, represents the highlight of the Lianjiang River scenery. Here, the Lianjiang River makes a 90-degree turn. On either bank, undulating peaks display their unique charm, while cliffs are adorned with abundant stalactites. In between lie verdant fields and old traditional houses, together forming an elegant and tranquil landscape painting. Owing to its exquisite Lingnan-style mountain and water features, this place was chosen as a filming location for the fourth Golden Rooster Award-winning Best Feature Film, *The Dialect*. With some luck, you might also spot flocks of egrets gliding over the water, offering a cinematic, montage-like experience. You can sit aboard a classic-style painted pleasure boat in the scenic area, savoring delicious river fish while admiring the lush green mountains and waters on both sides.
