The Highest Bridge on the Beijing-Kowloon Railway is located in Jinxing Village (Huangshawei), Daba Town, about 15 kilometers from the county seat. The railway bridge is 528.28 meters long and 75 meters high, making it the highest bridge along the entire Beijing-Kowloon Railway line. The planned scenic area covers an area of 5,000 square meters, with plans to build an observation deck (photo spot) for the Highest Bridge on the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, a Hakka Farm Tools Exhibition Hall, the restoration of three Hakka ancient stilted houses, an old oil press workshop, and more. Standing beneath the bridge, you can see the towering No. 5 and No. 6 main piers, which rise 72 and 75 meters respectively, along with other piers shooting up into the sky like mighty pillars rooted in the earth—grand and majestic. “A bridge flies across the south and north, turning a chasm into a thoroughfare.” This is yet another magnificent chapter of humanity’s triumph over nature, evoking a profound sense of awe and the triumph of human ingenuity.
