In Gaofa Village, Daba Town, Heping County, there is a walled house that has produced generations of talented individuals, boasts picturesque surroundings, and is steeped in many legendary tales. It is not only a favorite topic among locals in Heping but also quite well-known in Heyuan. This is the “Waihan Mansion”.

Jiahegang Walled House is located in Gaofa Village, Daba Town, Heping County. Built during the Qing Dynasty by the Huang family, it faces south with a horseshoe-like layout. The walled house consists of three halls, four wings, and one enclosing wall, and is two and a half stories high. Inside, there are over a hundred rooms neatly arranged in an oval shape. The outer structure features a grand dragon head, a large open hall, and a fish pond. The total area covers more than 6,000 square meters. It was designated as a cultural heritage site protected by Heyuan City in 2011.
