The site of the Medical Station of the People's Self-Defense General Corps of the Jiulian Mountain Area is located in the mountain valley of Jiaokeng, Reshui Town, Heping County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province.

In November 1945, the Third Detachment of the Dongjiang Column advanced into the Jiulian Mountains and established the People's Self-Defense General Corps of the Jiulian Mountain Area at Yezhuwo in Reshui Town. To ensure the safe medical treatment of over twenty wounded and sick soldiers, a military medical station was set up in Jiaokeng, 5 kilometers away from Yezhuwo. The station was led by Director Wang Peiquan, cultural instructor Yang Zhiguang, quartermaster He Fu, and medical staff including Zeng Shundi, Zhou Peifang, Wang Yueyi, and Han Yuanfang.

Jiaokeng is situated in a mountain valley deep within the Jiulian Mountains, surrounded by steep, high mountains and dense forests. At the bottom of the valley where two small mountain streams converge, there was originally an earthen-brick temple dedicated to the Divine King and a mountain hut where local villagers lived. After the establishment of the medical station, an additional wooden hut was built; the walls were made of tree branches and the roof covered with cedar bark. Medical personnel and wounded soldiers resided in both the temple and the mountain huts.

In 2012, it was included in the list of immovable cultural heritage sites under protection by Heping County.
