Former Site of the Heping-Dong County Committee of the Communist Party of China

The former site of the Heping-Dong County Committee of the Communist Party of China is located at Dongshui Central Primary School in Dongshui Town, Heping County.

In November 1940, the Party organization sent Chen Kunxian to Dongshui Primary School to engage in revolutionary activities under the cover of teaching. In February 1941, the Houdong Special Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to split the Heping County Committee and establish the Heping-Dong County Committee, appointing Chen Kunxian as the County Committee Secretary, with Luo Weiqiang as the head of the Organization Department, Luo Can as the head of the Propaganda Department, Lin Jingqiu as the head of the —— Department, and Liu Qi as the head of the Youth Department. The County Committee was based at Dongshui Central Primary School, under the leadership of the Houdong Special Committee, and governed the Party organizations in the Heping-Dong area.

The school was originally built in 1940 and has undergone multiple renovations. It covers an area of 2,670 square meters, with a building area of 1,588 square meters.
