Azure Window Bay is located opposite Comino Island in the northern part of Malta and is the northernmost beach in the country, comprising Azure Beach and Little Azure Beach. When visiting Azure Window Bay, tourists often notice numerous "boat houses" — these are summer residences for Maltese islanders. Local residents claim that this practice helps protect the environment, but government committees argue that the boat houses occupy large areas of public land and have repeatedly asked residents to remove them, creating a difficult and unresolved conflict between the two sides.

The area around Azure Window Bay is very peaceful, with many cafes and guesthouses/hotels catering to visitors' daily needs. The sea here is exceptionally clear and crystal-blue, arguably the bluest water in all of Malta. The azure waters, set against the snow-white soft sandy beach and the scattered beach pavilions, form the picturesque holiday destination of Azure Beach. Every summer, especially on weekends, it attracts a large number of domestic and international tourists.
