Introduction: The Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage Hotel was originally famous in Las Vegas and across the United States for Roy's white tiger training performances. However, the rare animals kept in the garden are still well worth visiting: White Tigers: As the most precious among white-colored animals, they are a mutated subspecies formed due to genetic mutation. The current population of artificially bred white tigers is only about 200–300. White Lions: A rare tropical wild animal native to Africa. In 1975, three white lion cubs were first discovered in Africa. Only when both the male and female lions carry the white lion gene can they produce white lion cubs. Today, there are only about 30–40 white lions in captivity worldwide. Other rare animals in the garden include: black panthers, golden tigers, and snow leopards. In addition, the dolphin habitat, which holds 9,500 cubic meters of water, is home to Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and frequently features dolphin shows. Transportation: Located south of the Volcano Lake, on the STRIP pedestrian walkway, there is a corridor leading to the hotel. After passing through the corridor and then the casino area, turn left where you’ll see signs for the Rainforest Pool. After walking through the shopping area, you’ll reach the entrance to the hotel’s Rainforest Pool (the pool is not open to hotel guests unless they show their room key). Continue inward along the edge of the pool; the railing marks the ticketing queue for entry into the park. Location: On the southwest first floor of the Mirage Hotel. The hotel is situated between Caesars Palace and the Treasure Island Hotel, diagonally opposite The Venetian. Tickets / Opening Hours: Ticket Prices: $15 / $10 – adults / children aged 4–12, children under 4 accompanied by an adult are free. Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat Opening Hours: Memorial Day (May 30) – Labor Day (first Monday in September): 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Labor Day – next year’s Memorial Day: Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Weekends: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Entry must be made at least 30 minutes before closing.
