Essay Contest on American Festivals and Entertainment Trips – Win Round-Trip Flights from Taipei to the U.S.!

Unique festivals around the world always attract travelers, and the "My American Dream Vacation" event, organized by the American Institute in Taiwan’s Commercial Section and the Taiwan Association for Tourism Promotion, lasts for a full year and features four themed essay contests. From September 15 to December 15 this year, the theme is "American Festivals and Entertainment Trips." Participants can write about their experiences attending festivals or entertainment events in the U.S., or upload photos to the event website, for a chance to win round-trip flights from Taipei to the U.S.!

The vast United States is filled with joyful atmosphere, where people love liveliness, and there are all kinds of entertainment activities almost every day. Located in the northwest of the U.S., Montana hosts various celebrations throughout the year. The largest Native American celebration is the annual Crow Fair in August, the Bucking Horse Sales in mid-May, and the Custer’s Last Stand Re-enactment in June. In addition, film is one of Montana’s most iconic forms of entertainment. Famous movies such as A River Runs Through It, The Horse Whisperer, The Perfect Storm, and Field of Dreams were filmed here. Many Hollywood stars also own vacation cabins or ranches in Montana, or even invest there, enjoying the breathtaking scenery and comfortable living environment.
 

The essay contest is divided into a photo submission competition (under 140 Chinese characters; one photo under 3MB) and an article submission competition (800–1600 Chinese characters; one photo under 3MB). Just upload your work to the "My American Dream Vacation" website for a chance to win a round-trip flight from Taipei to the U.S. Regular participants who vote may also have the opportunity to win a flight.
