Co-organized by the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) and the Taiwan Association for Tourism Promotion (TATP), the "My American Dream Vacation" campaign has now entered its fourth year. It is divided into four major themes, allowing partner organizations to showcase featured attractions and activities for each season. The 2014 summer edition focuses on "Honeymoon Travel," followed by Student Travel, Business Travel, and Family Travel, each highlighting unique destinations and experiences.

AIT Commercial Director David Chang noted that since Taiwan implemented the visa waiver program, U.S. tourism revenue has increased by as much as USD 1.6 billion. TATP President Tang Jingyi added that between 2014 and 2018, Taiwan is projected to rank 20th among the top 20 countries visiting the U.S., but its growth in U.S. tourist arrivals is the fourth strongest globally, following only China, Colombia, and India. Taiwan is expected to reach 585,000 visitors to the U.S. in 2015 and may rise to 18th place.

The 2014 summer "Honeymoon Travel" content includes:
Shopping malls in Las Vegas, offering customized private shopping plans;
Tucker Travel in the U.S. presents Alaskaand the Inside Passage honeymoon experience;
Hawaiipromotes with the slogan “The most beautiful honeymoon of your life is in Hawaii,” and has launched a Romance Campaign this November and December;
The Mariana Islands, including Saipan, Tinian, and Rota, offer a date on Tinian Island; World Travel also introduces various romantic wedding packages;
Alaskaemphasizes watching the aurora with your loved one, which can bring lifelong happiness;
Guamis an island paradise for honeymoons, featuring a variety of different churches;
Yellowstone National Park in Montana, where you can witness your eternal “faithfulness” together.
The American Tourism Promotion Association, after merging with My American Dream Vacation, now has a total of 75 member organizations, covering airlines, car rental companies, cruise lines, hotels, museums, shopping malls, and more, all working together to promote travel to the U.S.
