The U.S. National Tourism Office announces the launch of an online food website

The U.S. National Tourism Office, Brand USA, announced today (12th) that it will launch an online food website under the international food tourism promotion campaign theme “Flavours of the USA.” The site will feature introductions to local specialties from all 50 U.S. states, five major territories, and Washington, D.C. It will also provide international travelers with food-related information across the United States.

Brand USA will launch a brand-new concept online American food website, the official “Flavours of the USA” site at www.DiscoverAmerica.com/flavours. The content will cover introductions to local specialties from all 50 U.S. states, five major territories, and Washington, D.C. It will also offer international travelers food-related information from across the U.S., such as schedules for food festivals and events, wine-themed tours, and table etiquette tips.

Christopher L. Thompson, President and CEO of Brand USA, said: “Experiencing the uniquely rich food culture of the U.S. is also one way to experience travel in America.” Brand USA’s food promotion initiatives will also extend to international television screens, including partnerships with the Travel Channel International and Food Network International to co-produce programs such as “30 Chefs, 30 Days.”
