Renowned designer joins forces: Zac Posen to design new flight attendant uniforms for Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines has announced a collaboration with New York fashion designer Zac Posen to create a new generation of uniforms that are not only functional but also incorporate high-fashion elements from the runway. In addition to flight attendants and airport customer service staff, Zac Posen will also design uniforms for flight crew, ground support personnel, cargo staff, and Delta TechOps employees.

Known for his fresh and innovative style, Zac Posen has been awarded the CFDA/Swarovski Perry Ellis Award for Women’s Design, and his creations have been favored by celebrities such as Uma Thurman, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Naomi Watts. His designs embody the distinctive charm of modern America. Posen himself will be directly involved in this multi-year project, with the new uniforms expected to be officially unveiled in early 2018.

Zac believes that elegant and stylish attire, whether on the ground or in the air, can help every employee feel more radiant and confident every day. Delta Air Lines also stated that it hopes to convey the airline’s brand spirit through this initiative.
