Yeonui Island Park

Yeonui Island Park is located on Seonyu-ro in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. It is an eco-friendly, environmentally regenerated park built from the renovation of the former water purification plant facilities and opened in 2002. The park makes maximum use of the original water treatment plant buildings and facilities, transforming them into unique attractions such as a water purification garden, an aquatic plant garden, and an environmental water playground. This has also made the park a “natural oxygen bar” that supplies fresh air to Seoul citizens and a popular tourist destination, attracting over 300 visitors daily.

Known for its beautiful scenery, Yeonui Island Park allows visitors to experience nature, enjoy views of the Han River, and fully relax. In addition, the park offers a variety of attractions such as the Seoul Design Gallery and a botanical garden. At night, visitors can also admire the beautiful mist fountain. The mist fountain, together with the Yeonui Island night view, creates a fairy-tale-like atmosphere that is truly breathtaking.
