Yoro Valley

Yoro Valley is located in the southern part of Chiba Prefecture and is renowned for its stunning mountain and water landscapes. The most famous attraction is the Awamata-no-taki Falls, also known as the Mirage Waterfalls. It is the largest waterfall in Chiba Prefecture, measuring 100 meters in length and a 30-meter drop. Clear water cascades gently over stepped rocks, resembling delicate silk hanging down, earning high praise from all visitors.

Walking downstream from the waterfall, there is a 1.7-kilometer hiking trail along the left bank of the river. Strolling through this path while listening to the murmuring stream and surrounded by flowers and greenery is a truly pleasant experience. Along the Yoro Valley, there are many hot spring inns where visitors can enjoy a non-stay onsen bath. Additionally, activities such as fishing, picnicking, and camping are available, making it an ideal destination for families to connect with nature and enjoy a holiday.
