The Chiba Prefecture Government has set up a booth at the Taipei International Travel Fair (ITF). During the event, Chiba-kun (CHI-BA+KUN), the popular mascot of Chiba Prefecture in Taiwan, will appear at the booth to help promote the charm of Chiba Prefecture.

The Chiba Prefecture Government has produced a series of promotional videos. Taiwanese blogger Mrs. Ueda (Shanten Taitai), who lives in Japan, visits Chiba Prefecture along with Chiba-kun to explore locations designated as Japan Heritage sites — Narita, Sakura, Sawara, and Choshi. They enjoy the townscape of the North Kanto region, which preserves relics from the Edo period (1603–1867), and introduce local attractions and cuisine.

The Chiba Prefecture Government has launched the “Chiba-kun Taiwan Fan Page,” where they post updates on Chiba-kun’s promotional activities in Taiwan and related information about Chiba Prefecture.
