The Japan Chiba Prefecture University Student Exchange Experience Group has entered its third year, attracting hundreds of university students to apply every year. This year, 10 university students will again be selected to visit Chiba for sightseeing. Unlike previous years, those who participate this year will have the opportunity to be interviewed on a radio program upon returning to Taiwan, becoming Chiba tourism ambassadors. The itinerary will include must-visit spots in Chiba such as Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, Little Edo Sawara, Mother Farm, Yokohama Sea Paradise, and Sakurairo Shopping Mall. In addition, two full days of free time are specially arranged for students to explore Chiba’s charm on their own, guided by local university students.
Chiba Prefecture, home to Narita International Airport, is close to Tokyo, boasts developed agriculture and fisheries, is an outlet shopping paradise, and features many theme parks. The 5-day, 4-night trip’s transportation (including round-trip airfare between Taipei and Tokyo), accommodation, meals, and entrance fees for attractions will all be covered by the organizers. Participants are required to post relevant information in both Chinese and Japanese, along with photos, on Facebook and their personal blogs within three weeks after returning from the trip.
The “Chiba Prefecture 5-Day, 4-Night Summer Experience Group” recruitment campaign is accepting online applications. Simply fill out personal information, provide a self-introduction in Chinese and Japanese, and write about your motivation for joining the Chiba experience group. This year, the focus will be on selecting university students with unique personal qualities. The application period for the recruitment campaign ends at 23:59 on Sunday, July 13, 2014. “Chiba Prefecture 5-Day, 4-Night Summer Experience Group” Recruitment Campaignhttp://event.suntravel.com.tw/201406_chiba
