Narashino City is a city in the northwestern part of Chiba Prefecture, Japan, located on the edge of the Shimōsa Plateau, with its southwestern area adjacent to Tokyo Bay. There is a significant elevation difference between the coastal and inland areas. The city has a relatively developed industry, home to several large factories. Additionally, it hosts a well-known university—Chiba Institute of Technology.
