Caoling Ancient Trail

Along the Caoling Ancient Trail, you can see broad-leaved forests, artificially cultivated coniferous trees, and the most distinctive plants of subtropical rainforests, such as the sago cycad. There are also scenic spots including “Clear Mountain Stream,” “Fude Shrine,” “Horse-Falling Bridge,” “Heroic Suppression of Barbarian Smoke Carved Stone,” “Tiger Character Stele,” “Scenic Pavilion,” and the “Caoling Ancient Trail Dali Visitor Service Center.” The trail features three rest pavilions, interpretive signs, and public toilets to provide convenience and rest areas for visitors. The entire hike takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.
