Daxi Honeymoon Bay

The unique feature of Honeymoon Bay is that it is flanked by rocky reefs on both sides, with a stretch of fine, soft sandy beach in the middle.

The seabed at Honeymoon Bay gradually deepens from the shore, resulting in varying wave conditions, which create two prime surfing spots: one is located near the rocky area on the right side of the bay, where the beach extends into the sea, with waves about 2 to 10 feet high; the other is in the central part of Honeymoon Bay beach, suitable all year round and highly ideal for surfing, making it one of the major surfing spots in northern Taiwan. In addition, the beach is dotted with many commercial surf lesson booths.

Near Honeymoon Bay, there is an open grassy area suitable for camping, where you can enjoy the beautiful seascape and relax your mind.

Moreover, in the vicinity of Daxi Honeymoon Bay in Toucheng, Yilan County, there are also many must-visit tourist attractions such as Daxi Fishing Port, Taoyuan Valley, Caoling Historic Trail, Beiguan Coastal Park, and Shibanliao Waterfall, allowing you to explore the Northeast Coast National Scenic Area.
