There are several sediment-blocking dams in the Wulao Stream, forming several small waterfalls. In between, the stream flows gently with shallow water, making it suitable for activities such as playing in the water, catching shrimp, and canoeing. The deeper pools are abundant with mountain stream fish and stone loaches, making it a prime spot for stream fishing enthusiasts.

The two major camping areas in the Wulao Pit Scenic Area can not only host camping activities for up to 1,000 people, but also come with very complete facilities, such as cooking shelters, campfire sites, indoor gathering areas for rainy days, and separate male and female restroom facilities. Each barbecue shelter is equipped with eight barbecue grills, eight campsites, and eight sets of wooden picnic tables and chairs, offering great convenience.

The Wulao Pit Scenic Area also features a service center with a blue sloped roof and white walls. The center displays information related to the Wulao Pit, including park guides, ticket prices, campsite rental policies, catering services, and more. It also provides changing facilities for visitors playing in the water. Guests can also go up to the pavilion to rest while enjoying the surrounding green mountains and clear waters, taking in the beautiful natural scenery.
