The Sunrise Hot Springs are located among the rugged rocks on the southeastern coast of Green Island and are one of the rare saltwater hot springs in the world. Although they are sulfur springs, they lack the strong sulfur smell and do not leave a sticky feeling after bathing, making them quite unique. The hot spring area covers 3 to 4 pyeong (approximately 10–13 square meters), with a water depth of about one meter. Also called an undersea hot spring, it is a sulfur spring where seawater seeps into rock layers, is heated by geothermal energy, and then gushes out under high pressure, forming this rare type of saltwater hot spring. This spring is for bathing but not drinking, as it has the salty taste of seawater, which is quite distinctive. Near the hot spring, in the crevices of coastal rocks, grows the rare sea hibiscus, which is said to be effective in treating rheumatism.

Currently, the Eastern Coastal Scenic Area has built three circular pools with different temperatures for visitors to enjoy. You can soak in the hot springs while admiring the island scenery of blue sea and sky. At night, when the sky is filled with stars, it offers a unique experience. If you want to watch the sunrise, you can also come here at 3 or 4 a.m. to soak in the hot springs and greet the dawn. Ticket Information & Opening Hours
