No need to worry about getting lost anymore！Five convenience stores in Taitung have been transformed into “Ask Stations”

No need to fear losing your way anymore！To give travelers a more homely experience, Taitung County Government has this year set up tourist information Ask Stations at five highly visible convenience stores located along major transportation routes, providing more considerate and heartwarming services, and encouraging visitors toask.

Taiwan’s hospitality often amazes foreign visitors, who praise Taiwan’s most beautiful feature as its people. Therefore, starting in 2014, the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has collaborated with local shops, accommodation providers, travel agencies, tourist factories, museums, convenience stores, and police stations to launch Taiwan’s unique “Ask Station” service.

Taitung County Government currently operates tourism service centers at Taitung Railway Station, Taitung Airport, and Taitung Transfer Station to provide tourist consultation services. To further enhance overall tourism service quality and uphold the spirit of uninterrupted tourism support, making it easier for visitors to access travel information, the government has selectedChangbin 7-11 (Coastal Highway), Xinluye 7-11 (Luye downtown area), Jinlun 7-11 (Jinshi Street), Zhiben Ruifeng 7-11 (Provincial Highway 11), and Taitung Dazhu FamilyMart (Dawu Township)—a total of five convenience stores—as the latest Ask Stations offering Taitung travel services and information on local specialties and hidden scenic spots.

To encourage travelers to “don’t be shy” and ask away when visiting Taitung, Taitung County Government has specially launchedthe “Taitung Just Like This – Amazing Taitung - Taitung County Tourism & Travel Office” fan pageto run the “Taitung, Hi There！‘Ask’ Around！” lucky draw event. As long as travelers take a photo with any one of these five Ask Stations and upload it to Taitung County Government’s fan page, they can join the lucky draw and have fun while winning prizes.
