Dongfu Temple City God Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Dongfu Temple City God Temple is located on Yanping Road in Donggang Township, Pingtung County, and is commonly referred to locally as the "Jingzhu Gong Temple," being one of the temples of the Xiatai Corner among the Seven Corners of Donggang. Legend has it that it originated when a local merchant, during a chance encounter in Wannianzhou (now Fengshan), obtained a small piece of incense and brought it back home to worship morning and evening. After receiving divine inspiration, the temple was built in the 19th year of the Jiaqing reign, the Year of the Wood Dog (1814). The main deity worshipped in the temple is the City God, along with other deities including Lu Fu Qian Sui, Yan Fu Qian Sui, Zhu Fu Qian Sui, Water Deity King, City God’s Wife, Yin Yang Si, Speed Report Si, Civil and Martial Judges, Xie and Fan Generals, Dai General, Ma General, and others.

After its construction, Dongfu Temple City God Temple went through many trials and tribulations, with its halls and structures becoming worn and decaying. Thus, in 1962, local devotees such as Huang Wanfu initiated a reconstruction on the original site. The temple still preserves the original golden statue from its founding days, reflecting the deep faith of its followers. In addition, during the 1955 Donggang King Welcoming Festival, the temple was instructed by the City God to take part in the parade dressed accordingly. Since then, every three years during the Donggang King Welcoming Festival, the temple has continued this tradition of parading and patrolling the area without interruption. It is also the only group in all of Taiwan that features people dressed as the Twenty-Four Bureaus.
