Wulai Neidong Forest Recreation Area

The Wulai Neidong Forest Recreation Area is located in Xinxian Village, Wulai Township, Taipei County. Formerly known as Wawagou, it features a variety of landscapes such as forests, waterfalls, pools, streams, and shoals, full of natural wild charm. It’s an ideal spot for nature observation and enjoying the refreshing green forest bath.

The Wulai Neidong Forest Recreation Area sits at an elevation between 230 and 800 meters, covering an area of approximately 1,191 hectares. The clear waters of the Nanshi River and its upstream tributary, the Neidong Stream, flow through the park. Coupled with the area’s warm temperate natural broadleaf forest and well-developed forest bathing rest facilities, walking among the woods offers views filled with lush greenery and babbling streams, while the local flora and fauna are also remarkably diverse and vibrant.
