The annualNew Taipei City Christmas Town will officially illuminate the night sky of New Taipei on November 15th. Spanning 51 days, the event features not only the lighting ceremony of Taiwan’s tallest Christmas tree, but also free rides and large-scale installationsto accompany the public in celebrating a cozy Christmas season.

The 2014 New Taipei City Christmas Town is one of the city’s signature festive events and has been recognized as the most romantic Christmas destination in Taiwan. In addition to the opening tree lighting ceremony on November 15th, a series of activities including a Christmas market, Christmas parties, concerts, and street parades will ensure a lively and heartwarming holiday experience. The area around the New Taipei City Government will also be decorated with numerous installations and festive street lights, brightening up New Taipei’s Christmas nights.
