Lover's Bridge

Lover's Bridge is located at Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf in Tamsui District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is a harbor-crossing bridge. The bridge was officially opened on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2003, and was named Lover's Bridge by the then President of the Republic of China.

Lover's Bridge is a streamlined, curved single-plane cable-stayed bridge. Its white sail-like shape symbolizes smooth sailing. Spanning the harbor, it connects the Taipei County Tourist Fish Market, the wooden boardwalk, and the Blue Highway ferry terminal. Enjoying the Tamsui sunset and the views of the Tamsui wharf from the bridge is truly magnificent. The bridge is approximately 196 meters long, and it takes about three minutes to walk across. Once you cross the bridge, you reach the wooden boardwalk. The boardwalk is built along the breakwater, constructed entirely from logs, stretching about 320 meters in length and 10 meters in width. Strolling along the boardwalk offers an unobstructed view of the charm of both sides of the Tamsui harbor.
