Located in Jianlu Village, Shimen District, New Taipei City, Shimen Wedding Square was renovated in 2008 by New Taipei City (formerly Taipei County Government) and the North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration at a cost of over 8 million New Taiwan Dollars, transforming the former area of tin-roofed vendor stalls. It is Taiwan’s first wedding square, characterized by Mediterranean-style architecture dominated by white tones, along with spotless white bell towers and arcades. Paired with the natural seascape of the North Coast—where sea meets sky in brilliant blue—it offers an atmosphere reminiscent of the Greek coast, radiating undeniable romance.

Shimen Wedding Square combines fashion, scenery, leisure, and romance in one. Whether you’re a couple in love, newlyweds, or a long-married pair, a visit to the square instantly envelops you in its blissful and beautiful ambiance. Moreover, the square boasts expansive views and stunning scenery.
