Wulai Waterfall, also known as "Yunxian Waterfall" or "Shiraito Falls (White Thread Falls)," has been celebrated since the Japanese colonial era as the "Cloud-Coming Falls." It is located on the right bank of the Nanshi Stream in Wulai District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. The waterfall drops 80 meters in height and spans 10 meters in width. Its flow resembles the ethereal grace of the "Cloud-Coming Falls"—exquisite and indescribable.

Wulai Waterfall is the most famous attraction in the Wulai area and also the largest and most dramatic waterfall in northern Taiwan. As the water cascades down, it crashes against rocks, breaking into hundreds of fine streams before converging again into a powerful torrent. Its form constantly shifts with the volume of water and wind conditions, presenting ever-changing appearances like a woman with a thousand faces. At its base, the waterfall plunges with the force of a thousand galloping horses, gathering into a pool of crystal-clear water that is refreshingly cool—an ideal summer retreat. Moreover, during dawn and dusk, the high-altitude mountain setting often shrouded in clouds creates a misty veil over the falls, adding a touch of romance and inspiring the imagination.
