Teresa Teng's voice crossed the Taiwan Strait and touched millions. On May 8, 1995, she passed away in Chiang Mai, Thailand, due to an asthma attack, leaving behind an eternal sorrow. Moved by the devotion of her fans, the Teng family chose to lay her to rest in the picturesque Jinbaoshan Cemetery, and named and built the Junyuan (Garden of Elegance), using the "Jun" character from her birth name. A giant keyboard is embedded in the ground of the memorial park, and when stepped on, it plays beautiful melodies. Teresa Teng’s stage costumes, casual wear, and records are also displayed in the Teresa Teng Memorial Hall, allowing fans from around the world to come and remember her at any time.
