Dharma Drum Mountain

Dharma Drum Mountain is an influential Buddhist monastery in Taiwan, founded by Master Sheng Yen and regarded as one of the four major Buddhist centers in the region. It advocates living in harmony with nature and reflects a philosophy of keeping pace with the times in its religious architecture. The temple complex breaks away from the traditional style of yellow-tiled eaves commonly seen in religious buildings, instead seeking spiritual pursuit within nature.
