• Originally located in what was once Asia’s largest gold mining area, it showcases the history and culture of Jiufen.

Attraction Introduction

The Taiwan Gold Museum was renovated from the former office building of a metal mining company and now has three floors. The first floor is an exhibition hall featuring multiple themes such as “Tracing the Golden River of History” and “Big Gold Mound Outcrop”; the second floor also hosts permanent exhibitions with three themes; the third floor is a gold panning experience area where visitors can personally try the gold panning process of the past.

Special Tips

There are limited parking spaces around the park. During holidays and gold-themed events, vehicle access around the Gold Ecological Park will be restricted. Visitors who drive should park at Parking Lot No. 9 or the Shuinandong Parking Lot, then transfer to the shuttle bus.
