Hexikou Xihai Fishing Village

Hexikou Xihai Fishing Village is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Xihai Fishing Village is located in Hexikou, 12 kilometers from the county town. This year, an investment of 5 million yuan was made to complete its planning and construction. Currently, the village features one barbecue platform, one small restaurant, one beach, and has completed the main structure of a 1,600-square-meter guesthouse. Facilities include eight speedboats, two jet skis, as well as sun umbrellas, shade shelters, and related amenities. In the future, our county will fully integrate the development of the fishing harbor dock, and plan construction around nine aspects: being a fisherman for a day, Xihai Bathing Water Park, fishing village barbecues, fishing pond angling, fishing village restaurants, boat fishing, and large-net fishing. These initiatives will allow visitors to personally engage in casting nets, catching fish, fishing, preparing fish, and tasting fish, making Xihai Fishing Village a distinctive fishing-themed leisure destination. At the same time, we will actively introduce a variety of lotus species such as Xianglian, expand the lotus planting area, create a Lotus Sea Expo World, and gradually develop this area into a lotus-themed seascape world. Additionally, leveraging the rich ethnic and folk art atmosphere of Wulan Township, we will establish a folk performance troupe to regularly stage performances, thereby enhancing the cultural richness of Xihai Fishing Village.
