A symphony of ocean and sand – Romance on a starry night in Jibei

The sunshine, beaches, waves, and cacti of Penghu are the most enchanting features of summer. To celebrate Penghu County’s official membership in the “Organization for the Most Beautiful Bays in the World,” the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration is hosting the “Swing Youth 'FUN Kite'” event and the “Love in Jibei Romantic Night” starlight concert on August 16th at Jibei Sha Wei. Visitors and locals are warmly welcome to join in the fun.

The “Swing Youth 'FUN Kite'” event will take place at 4:00 PM on August 16th. The activity will feature kite-flying demonstrations and tutorials by the Penghu County Kite Association, as well as free kites for participants to enjoy flying and the thrill of dancing with nature. At 7:00 PM, the “Love in Jibei Romantic Night” starlight concert will showcase performances by the bands “EasyPlay” and “Coach Band Jelly Lee.” With an unplugged, natural performance style, the bands will present moving melodies using vocals, acoustic guitars, box drums, and percussion instruments.

The beautiful sands of Jibei Sha Wei combine stunning scenery with raw musical sensations. Through the resonance of music, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in a naturally enchanting atmosphere. During the day, Penghu offers azure seas and skies, while at night you can wander under starlit waves—each part of the day offering its own unique beauty.
