The Water Diversion Station is located in the southern part of Bosten Lake, 20 kilometers from the county town and 60 kilometers from Korla City. It is operated and managed by the Bazhou Xihai Water Diversion Tourism Service Center, with a total tourism investment of 1.2 million yuan. It is the largest electric water diversion station in Xinjiang and even the entire northwest region. Currently, it features tourism facilities such as a grape arbor, an observation pavilion, a parking lot, and a beach. It is equipped with three speedboats and one 50-seat passenger boat, offering recreational activities such as lake boating, beach bathing, and lakeside viewing from the dam. In 2003, it was rated as a National Water Conservancy Scenic Area by the Ministry of Water Resources of China. In the future, our county plans to develop it into a true national water conservancy scenic area by constructing additional tourism service facilities including hotels, villas, and parking lots.
