East Small Heavenly Lake

Introduction The East Small Heavenly Lake is rarely visited, giving it an especially eerie and mysterious atmosphere. Though smaller than the West Small Heavenly Lake, it features unique scenery, remains entirely unaltered, and has an extraordinary charm.

When water flows out from the East Small Heavenly Lake, it forms a tall waterfall. This waterfall cascades down like a white silk ribbon hanging in the air, with a thunderous roar. The splashing water creates a misty spray that, when hit by sunlight, forms tiny rainbows. Thick droplets fall like a fine drizzle, washing the moss on the surrounding rocks and the plants and trees, leaving them fresh and clean.

When the water of the Heavenly Lake flows downward toward the northeast and encounters a cliff, it forms a spectacular waterfall. The plunge pool eroded by this waterfall is the East Small Heavenly Lake.
