In addition, the Tainan City Government’s Transportation Bureau has been promoting a bus rapid transit policy, having completed the renovation and construction of nine transit stations. In addition to serving as transport hubs, these stations also feature architectural designs that incorporate local cultural elements. Among them, four transit station facilities — located at Guanmiao, Shanhua, Bao’an, and Xinzhuang stations — have jointly won the 2017 National Excellence in Construction Award. Visitors to Tainan may want to stop by these transit stations to admire their architectural styles.

It is expected that three double-decker sightseeing buses will be put into service initially, with fares ranging between 200 and 300 New Taiwan Dollars. In addition to covering urban areas, historical sites, and popular attractions, the routes will also focus on night markets and charming streets and alleys. Plans for ticket packages or freeboarding options are also under consideration.
