In recent years, Taiwan has seen the emergence of many painted villages, alleys, staircases, and more, making such attractions one of the hottest photo trends across the country. Kaohsiung is also about to unveil a brand-new painted spot, featuring what is claimed to be Asia’s largest 3D aerial mural, sparking heated discussion. The 3D aerial mural is set to grandly open on June 7 at the Shishuman Silk Culture Park, covering a space of 1,200 ping (approx. 3,960 sq m), with its biggest highlight being a three-story-tall 3D dragon mural that appears to burst out from the ground. Its astonishing realism has generated tremendous excitement, causing this new attraction to receive an overwhelming number of inquiries even before its opening.

The 3D aerial mural at Kaohsiung’s new attraction was created entirely by Taiwan’s 3D mural master, Tu Long. Passengers can take the light rail and get off at the Zhongzheng Star Station, then walk along Chenggong 2nd Road to see the 3D murals on the rooftop of the Kaohsiung Taiwan Sugar Logistics Park. The Shishuman Silk Culture Park site will also feature challenge checkpoints, with the final one leading to the view of the three-story-tall 3D aerial mural.
