Urumqi Botanical Garden

Urumqi Botanical Garden is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Urumqi Botanical Garden was established in 1986 and is located on Beijing Road, covering an area of over 60 hectares. The developed sections include the Rose Garden, perennial flower area, planting demonstration zone, lawn area, landscape garden, medicinal plant area, and desert plant area. To date, more than 400 species of plants have been collected, among which over 10 species such as deer root, sand juniper, gymnocarpium, and Siberian fir are rare and endangered plants in the autonomous region, along with 46 species of perennial flowers and over 20 species of annual and biennial herbaceous flowers.
