The ruins of the Sui and Tang dynasty county town of Baiquan and the Baiquan Temple are located in Taojia Haizi, Goukou Township, 10.2 kilometers southwest of Pengyang County.

The site is nestled among emerald-green mountains, shaded by willows and poplars, covered with lush green grass, and boasts beautiful scenery and a pleasant climate. Under the verdant canopy, dozens of clear streams meander through the grassy plains that resemble a vast green carpet, babbling softly. It is extremely cool here in summer. At dawn, when the morning mist is thick, look up to see the low-hanging moon in the sky, appearing especially enchanting, while the distant peaks are veiled in a faint mist, as if draped in a gauzy veil, appearing and disappearing intermittently. The moonlight, water reflections, and mountain scenery blend seamlessly with the ancient town and temple, forming a breathtaking landscape painting. In the afternoon, with wisps of white clouds drifting across the sky and birds singing loudly in the woods, whether you're playing chess in the forest, fishing by the stream, strolling along the tree-lined paths, or soaking in the crystal-clear pool, all bring a sense of peace and transcendence.
