The Pengyang Yangwa Watershed Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

The Yangwa Watershed Water Conservancy Scenic Area is situated to the north of Pengyang County, extending east to Changcheng Village in Chengyang Township, south to Luobo Village in Baiyang Town, west to Yangwa Village in Baiyang Town, and north to Caochuan Village in Caomiao Township. It encompasses eight villages in three townships—Baiyang, Caomiao, and Chengyang—boasting a planned area of 96.3 square kilometers and a treatment rate of 93.7%. The scenic area is built around the themes of “ecology, tourism, leisure, and wellness,” featuring key highlights such as “blue skies, green mountains, flower seas, and terraced fields.” Four major attractions have been developed, represented by Green Yangwa, Caochuan Terraces, Baicha Flower Sea, and the Changcheng Countryside Experience.

The Pengyang Yangwa Watershed Water Conservancy Scenic Area is established based on the soil and water conservation project of the Yangwa Watershed. The scenic area covers a planned area of 96.3 km², including 2.0 km² of water surface, and is classified as a soil and water conservation-oriented water conservancy scenic area. The Yangwa Watershed serves as a model for small watershed management in Pengyang County. In recent years, the scenic area has implemented comprehensive management approaches integrating mountains, water, farmland, forests, grasslands, and roads. Projects such as artificial afforestation, water pollution control, integrated small watershed management, and terraced field landscape enhancement have been carried out, cumulatively treating 1,515 km² of eroded land and forming a vast expanse of peach orchards spanning hundreds of thousands of mu.
