The Ruhe Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

The Ruhe Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Pengyang County extends north to Shitou Yaodian Reservoir, borders Qifeng Mountain to the south, lies adjacent to Dianwa Reservoir to the west, and is backed by the Ruhe Waterfall to the east. It features seven major landscapes: the Ruhe Ecological Park, Riverside Park, Shitou Yaodian Reservoir, Yuelong Mountain, Qifeng Mountain, Ruhe Waterfall, and Ruhe Gorge. Mountains, rivers, forest belts, and water bodies are interwoven, creating a unique water conservancy landscape characterized by “green mountains, green waters, and a verdant embrace,” along with a fine ecological environment and rich cultural significance. This fulfills people’s longing to return to pristine mountains and clear waters and reconnect with nature, making it a popular destination for short trips, vacations, and leisure activities for the residents of the county.
