Dulan Alake Lake National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Qinghai Dulan Alake Lake National Wetland Park is located in Dulan County, Qinghai Province, covering a total area of 16,799.21 hectares.

Alake Lake is located in Balong Township, Dulan County, with an average elevation of 4,099 meters, an area of 36.1 square kilometers, and a water storage capacity of 490 million cubic meters. It is the largest freshwater lake in Haixi Prefecture and also a major inland overflow lake in the upper reaches of the Qaidam River. The Alake Lake ecosystem has a relatively intact structure and is home to most of the rare species found on the Tibetan Plateau, making it an ideal summer habitat for precious migratory birds including the black-necked crane. There are 93 species of vertebrates from 73 genera, 37 families, and 13 orders, including 31 bird species protected at the national and provincial levels, and 17 mammal species under national and provincial protection.

The establishment of the national wetland park aims to protect Alake Lake and its surrounding marsh wetlands, providing ecological security for the rare wildlife inhabiting the area. It plays a significant role in preserving and maintaining the ecological functions and landscape features of plateau wetlands, as well as in the emergency protection and restoration of vital wetlands, thereby improving people's livelihoods. It will also actively promote the development of ecological civilization and ecotourism in Dulan.
