The owner said that by chance, he met a Spanish water sports enthusiast, which led him to transform the café into a multifaceted venue offering water activity services such as canoeing and sailing. Beginners can also request a coach, with prices starting at NT$500 per person for one hour. If you want to stay overnight in the hidden gem that is Dulan, camping is also a way to experience the local vibe.

The shop owner said that besides water activities led by their Spanish friend, the restaurant is managed by a Dutch head chef who once worked at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Europe. The menu features Spanish cuisine as its main highlight, offering a variety of international dishes such as Spanish seafood paella, Spanish red wine, and mango panna cotta.

Because of this, the café attracts backpackers from around the world to work as helpers. Though they come from different countries, they share a common trait: being deeply captivated by the beauty of Taitung. They choose to stay long-term in this pristine land.
